      Global climate change is scientific fact, not just theory

      No good reason to go against master plan
            Thank you for covering the continuing controversy regarding the application to build 90 condominium units on Guernsey Lane in East Brunswick. I am one of the many residents who have filled the hall for the Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings on this proposal.

      Grateful for hospital infection prevention bill
            As a former volunteer for a group dedicated to the prevention of deadly hospital infections, I was ecstatic to hear about Gov. Jon Corzine signing the hospital infection prevention bill recently. I have worked tirelessly to educate the public in our community on the dangers of contracting a deadly staph infection while in the hospital.

      Resident hopes new VA secretary will be better qualified
            During the past year or so, I've submitted several letters to your company's papers regarding the sad state of the Veterans Administration, led by R. James Nicholson. Veterans, our hopes and prayers have been answered and by none other than Secretary Nicholson himself. I guess it is better to resign than to be fired - a self-saving grace, if you will.
