      ERIC SUCAR staff The Monroe Township High School Marching Band performs for the crowd during the United States Scholastic Band Association competition Sept. 29. This marked the first time that Monroe hosted the event, which raised funds for the Music Parents Association. A week later, the band finished first in the Group V division and was overall champion in the Central Jersey Super Saturday Competition in Jackson.
