'Dirty politics' persuades Republican to vote Democrat
Iam a registered Republican and have voted that way for the past 21 years and was planning to do so in the coming general elections Nov. 6. After reading the article in your Sept. 27 issue ("Republican quits over phony Baroni letter") about Ms. Racquel Chiarella, a Monroe Republican committee member resigning her post over being asked by Bill Baroni's staffers to send a mudslinging letter about his opponent Seema Singh, I am disgusted at the dirty politics in a so-called "clean district." I have therefore decided to vote for the Democratic candidates in the general elections.
