            Mrs. Douglas, 63, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 31, 2007, at home. She was employed as a customer support technician at United Stationers Office Supply Co., Cranbury, where she worked for the past 12 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Frances DeGumba Solook. Surviving are her husband, Robert A.

            Mrs. Patrick, 72, of Jackson, formerly of Edison, Milltown, the Toms River section of Dover and Clearwater, Fla., died Oct. 14, 2007, at home. Prior to her retirement in 2005, she was an administrative assistant at Georgian Court University, Lakewood, for many years.

      Joan K. Healy
            Mrs. Healy, 71, of Monroe, formerly of Old Bridge, died Nov. 7, 2007, at home. A journalist, she had been employed with Greater Media Newspapers, Freehold, in its East Brunswick office, and, more recently, with the Home News Tribune, East Brunswick. Prior to beginning a career in journalism, she was a substitute teacher with the Old Bridge public school system.

      John Douglas Lawson Jr., D.D.S.
            Dr. Lawson, 65, of East Brunswick, died Oct. 31, 2007, in NYU Medical Center, New York City. Prior to his retirement in 1991, he was a dentist in private practice as North Brunswick Dental Group. His wife, Carolyn Neimann Lawson, died in March.       Jane J. Nakielny Mixtacki
            Mrs. Mixtacki, 86, of South River, died Nov. 1, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was the housekeeper for several years at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church Rectory, South River. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Mixtacki. Surviving are her children, the Rev.             Mrs. Pratt, 78, of Seaside Park, died Oct. 29, 2007, at her daughter's home. Prior to her retirement, she was a teacher for 25 years with Middlesex County Vocational and Technical High Schools. Her husband, Donald A. Pratt, died in 1983, and a daughter, Carole Gettings, died in 2007.

            Mr. Root, 83, of Staten Island, N.Y., died Nov. 7, 2007, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. A son, Douglas, died in 1986.             Mrs. Wilczek, 76, of Freehold Township, formerly of Monroe, died Oct. 18, 2007, in The Manor Care Center, Freehold Township. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Wilczek, in 1966.       Chester J. Wojcik
            Mr. Wojcik, 85, formerly of South River and the East Millstone section of Franklin, died Oct. 18, 2007, in New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home at Menlo Park, Edison. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Onka and Genevieve Wojcik, and by a brother, Joseph Wojcik. Surviving are a sister, Angela Ella Trosko of Milltown, and several nieces and nephews.

            Mrs. Schechter, 86, of Monroe, died Nov. 1, 2007, in University Medical Center at Princeton. Her husband, Abraham, died in 1986.
