Ihave lived in Monroe my entire life. I attended the schools here and graduated from Monroe Township High School in 1998.

This past spring, my husband and I bought our own home and plan to raise our two children here as well. One of the main reasons we chose Monroe is because of the education we expect our children to receive. Many other young parents are doing the same, and as a result, our school population is soaring.

I encourage everyone to vote yes on Dec. 11 for the school-bond referendum that will provide funds to build a desperately needed high school. At just $4 per month in additional taxes, this is the best investment I will ever make. Vote yes on Dec. 11.
