      Residents came together to pass referendum

      Keep churches, temples out of political arena
            Church and state should remain separate. Imagine if every church, temple, etc., began to rent out their halls and centers to the political parties. These churches are tax exempt because they stay out of government. The "blind eyes" should be given sight. The honor system hasn't worked. Don't let this "can of worms" open, please.
