      Urges residents to ensure voting eligibility
            The League of Women Voters of Monroe Township reminds all citizens that New Jersey's presidential primary will take place on Feb. 5, 2008. Registered voters affiliated with either the Democratic Party or the Republican Party may vote for one of that party's candidates in the primary.

      NJ should emulate feds by printing money
            The alternative solution to monetize the state debt is for New Jersey to print its own currency. In the early days of our country, individual banks printed their own money supported by gold or silver holdings. Currently, our national government money supplies are federal reserve notes propped up by the printing presses.

      Politicians seeking more ways to spend taxpayers' money
            The small number of registered voters in New Jersey have run true to form this past election. The voting public had an opportunity to throw the incumbents out of office but chose not to vote (less than one-third of registered voters actually voted) or voted for the incumbents.
