      Judgment day for Rutgers NFL hopefuls at Pro Day
      Rice, Zuttah attract the most attention at annual event
            Anybody who has followed Rutgers football over the past three seasons knows that Ray Rice will be among the first running backs selected in the NFLDraft later this month. But what some may not realize is that there are a slew of other draft hopefuls on the team, many of whom showed scouts what they can bring to a team at Rutgers Pro Day last Wednesday.

      O.B. golf squad shooting for better season in '08
      Knights finished with 10-12 mark last season
            With four seniors heading up its lineup, the Old Bridge High School golf team is looking to improve upon last year's 10-12 record. The Knights battled through an up-and down campaign but still found a way to make it to the finals of the Greater Middlesex Conference (GMC) Tournament.

      Bombers tennis team looking for repeat performance
      Sayreville boys finished 22-3 last year, qualified for state tourney
            The Sayreville High School boys tennis team has set its sights squarely on winning the Greater Middlesex Conference White Division crown this spring. A year ago the Bombers went 22-3 overall, good enough for second place in the division behind JFK. Coach Mike Provenza's team also qualified for the NJSIAACentral Jersey Group IV tourney.
