Plays-in-the-Park sets musical auditions

Open auditions for the summer musical season of Plays-in-the-Park, Middlesex County's community theater, will be held beginning April 8 at the Stephen J. Capestro Theater, Roosevelt Park, Edison.

Tryouts for "The Producers," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Smokey Joe's Café" are set for 7 p.m. on April 8 and noon on April 19 and 20. "Chip" auditions for a young boy age 10-14, are planned for 11 a.m. on April 19 and 20.

Callbacks are set for April 21-28.
