African Violet Show planned for April 18, 19

The Central Jersey African Violet Society will hold its 29th annual African Violet Show and Sale from 3-7 p.m. on April 18 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 19 at First Baptist Church, 232 Main St. (Route 79), Matawan. The event will feature judged plants and interpretive designs. Unusual African violets and other gesneriads will be offered for sale. Members will be on hand to provide information.Admission is free of charge.
