This letter is in response to an article regarding Township Councilman Donald Klemp calling for the ouster of the East Brunswick Democratic chairman because Klemp was not informed as to the reason he wasn't selected by the party to run for mayor ("Klemp Says Party Head Has Undemocratic Ways," Sentinel, May 1). As East Brunswick takes its final steps toward completing the new community center, it is important to our community's cultural wellbeing and growth that the Township Council continues its commitment to providing superior services in this area for East Brunswick residents. More ... This is in response to Walter Goldeski's letter to the editor titled "Time Wasted on Team Prayer Issue" that appeared in theMay 1 issue of the Sentinel. I understand and I can almost completely agree with Mr. Goldeski's opinion that praying in school is not only harmless but may even be beneficial to students. What could possibly be so wrong with team prayer? More ... I would like to urge lawmakers, senators and other politicians if they can think about changing the name of Middlesex County to "Middle County" instead of keeping it as Middlesex. The word "sex" in the current name looks weird and does not look appropriate in our society. More ... |
