Writer might be unaware of name origins

Perhaps Taj Ahmad ("Take the 'Sex' Out of 'Middlesex County,' " Sentinel, Letters to the Editor, May 8) is unaware of the origins of Middlesex, or for that matter, Sussex and Essex as well. Those names, as well as our state name "Jersey," come from when we were British colonies.

If Taj has an issue, maybe he should consider a change of address - Intercourse, Pa., comes immediately to mind.
