            Mrs. Bostic, 77, of East Brunswick, died May 18, 2008, at home. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Murphy, and her husband, John, of East Brunswick; a son, Paul, and his wife, Francine, of Freehold; and four grandchildren, Kevin and Andrew Bostic and Elizabeth and Jennifer Murphy. Services were held at Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

            Mrs. Lohr, 81, of Spotswood, formerly of Monroe, diedMay 1, 2008, in Raritan BayMedical Center, Old Bridge division. She worked as a secretary for Van Liew Motors, Jamesburg, during the 1940s. After that, she was employed as a secretary with the Spotswood Board of Education for 21 years until her retirement in 1986.

      John "Jack" Walsh
            Mr. Walsh, 85, of Manalapan, died May 19, 2008, in CareOne at East Brunswick. He was ordained a permanent deacon of the Trenton Diocese in 1980. Prior to his retirement, he conducted the preparation classes for baptism and marriage at St. Thomas More Church, Manalapan. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Ann, in 2002.

            Dr. Mattus, 89, of Spotswood, died May 16, 2008, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was a professor of horticulture. His first wife, Mary Ann Tamarkin Mattus, died in 1982. Surviving are his wife, Sylvia Freund Mattus; three children,MarthaMattus of Portland, Ore., Gregory Mattus of Louisville, Miss.
