Verna Glock

Mrs. Glock, 84, of Old Bridge, formerly of Spotswood and Barefoot Bay, Fla., died June 8, 2008, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was employed as an office manager with the Boy Scouts of America National Headquarters, North Brunswick, where she worked for more than 20 years. She also worked with the Spotswood tax assessor and served as a Spotswood Borough Council member. Her husband, John Glock, died in 2006. Surviving are are three daughters, Judith Champion- Legones, and her husband, George Legones, of Lambertville, Jacqueline Dushkevich, and her husband, Robert, of Spotswood and Victoria Curcio, and her husband, Robert, of Allentown, Pa.; two sisters, Ruth Fleming, and her husband, Robert, and Rita Brodniak, and her husband, Anthony, all of the Parlin section of Sayreville; a brother, Robert Farley, and his wife, Alice, of East Amherst, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services were held at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, Old Bridge. Committal was private.
