Photo club schedules competition, lecture

The Raritan Photographic Society is a photography club that meets twice a month, September-May.

The club's first meeting of 2008-09 is set for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the East Brunswick Public Library, Jean Walling Civic Center, and will feature a photo competition.

A lecture meeting focusing on "Taking Better Pictures" is planned for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 in the library at North Brunswick High School, 98 Raider Road.
