I am excited about our opportunity to elect new leadership in East Brunswick this November. I was always proud to watch Christi Calvano ask the tough questions while she served on council. She was always the only voice that made sense and tried to plan ahead, instead of only thinking about short-term projects.

As dedicated parents active in youth sports and the school system, I know that her running mates Gene DeMarzo and Jim Wendell will serve as a voice for our community while on the council. All three of them have explained that the reason they are running for local government is to give an honest voice to the people. I feel like too often, the people involved in the current administration don't listen when residents have concerns about construction in their neighborhood or the constantly escalating school budget.

Christi, Gene and Jim are not professional politicians. They are running because they want a government that is responsible to residents struggling with high taxes. I ask you to listen to the common sense ideas of Christi Calvano, Gene DeMarzo, and Jim Wendell so that they can earn your vote this November.
