            Mr. Faughnan, 50, of Monroe and formerly of East Brunswick, died Oct. 2, 2008, in Dayton, Ohio. He was a computer technician for NCR, Dayton, for the past 1 ½ years. Mr. Faughnan was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Geraldine Charneski Faughnan.

      Leo William Fitzgerald Jr.
            Mr. Fitzgerald, 82, a resident of East Brunswick for 52 years, died Oct. 20, 2008, at Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1992, he was president of his own insurance brokerage firm in New York City. Mr. Fitzgerald was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

      Kareen E. Devine Anderson
            Mrs. Anderson, 76, of East Brunswick died Oct. 17, 2008, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was a food manager at East Brunswick Board of Education for 27 years, retiring in 1995. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Devine; and three sisters, Eileen Nann, Joan Garrabrandt and Claire Crosson.

      Michael Legato
            Mr. Legato, 92, a resident of East Brunswick for more than 50 years, died Oct. 6, 2008, at home. He worked at the Raritan Arsenal in Edison for 20 years before his retirement in 1960. Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Harriet Longo Legato; two daughters, Kathleen Legato of East Brunswick and Susan Dreschniol of Warren; a sister, Josephine Domiter; and two grandsons.

            Mrs. Maliszewski, 59, of Sayreville, died Oct. 13, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was an ordained minister for the past 10 years in the Society of Novus Spiritus in Campbell, Calif., prior to which she was employed by Merchants Bank in New York City. Mrs.

            Mrs. Van Woeart, 78, of Old Bridge, died Oct. 19, 2008, at Summer Hill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. Born in South Amboy, she lived in Sebastian, Fla., before moving back to Old Bridge five years ago. Mrs. Van Woeart was a waitress for the Colonial Diner in East Brunswick for 18 years.

Predeceasing her were her husband, Chester Mokrzycki; two daughters, Joyce and Judith; a sister, Ann Lindner; and a brother, John Toth. Surviving are a brother, Steven Toth, and a sister, Vilma Toth, both of Monroe.
