First SHS graduates reunite after 30 years
Students recall excitement of getting own high school

      SPOTSWOOD — It might surprise some borough teenagers to learn that their community didn't always have a high school. In fact, until 1976, ninth- through 12thgraders from Spotswood attended South River High School. Borough residents voted to approve construction of their own school in the early 1970s, and the first class graduated Spotswood High School in 1978.

Mayor seeks crosswalk in area of school
      SPOTSWOOD — The Borough Council is considering the placement of a crosswalk near Spotswood High School. The topic came up during a recent Borough Council meeting when Mayor Thomas Barlow said he was concerned about pedestrian safety in the area of the school on Summerhill Road.
