Mumbai murders stun and sadden local rabbi
      On Black Friday the news I so dreaded was confirmed. My close friend and classmate, Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and his wife, Rivki Holtzberg, were brutally murdered by terrorists along with hundreds of other victims in Mumbai, India.

State should protect health in the workplace
      During this season of thanksgiving, I am grateful I live and work in a state that protects my health in the workplace. But surprisingly, this is not the case for all New Jersey workers. Atlantic City's City Council recently revoked their decision to restrict smoking in casinos, forcing casino workers to continue to risk their health every day while earning a living.

Gun bill would not stop criminals from killing
      Another "crackpot" bill — "One Gun a Month" — drawn up in our state Legislature. How is restricting legal gun owners from buying a gun whenever they want supposed to stop a criminal from killing someone? None of my legislators were able to answer that question when I called them recently. So I told them to kill this bill.
