Bariatric weight-loss group to meet Dec. 18

Raritan Bay Medical Center will sponsor a Bariatric Weight-Loss Support Group meeting 6:30-8 p.m. Dec. 18 in Centennial Hall at the hospital's Perth Amboy division, 530 New Brunswick Ave.T

he meeting is designed for individuals who have had weight-loss surgery, are contemplating weight-loss surgery or are trying to maintain a healthy weight. Facilitator Lauretta Thompson, R.N., M.S.N., will lead a discussion on the concerns and successes surrounding the surgery. Family and friends are welcome.
