Condolences, support go out to Mumbai victims, families
The Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County extends its heartfelt condolences to the community in India, Mumbai, and those in the United States whose families and friends were impacted by the reprehensible acts of terror experienced in Mumbai.
We also extend our deepest condolences to the Chabad Lubavitch community and to the families of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg. May they long be remembered and continue to serve as role models for others in our community.
The Jewish community, having sustained repeated attacks on its own populace, strongly condemns all violent assaults against innocents. We stand firmly and consistently behind a philosophy that values and protects human life and community welfare. We are committed to the constant battle against injustice and heinous acts of violence wherever they occur and support those who battle the prejudice that foments them.
We encourage others in our community to join us in a dialogue to build a safe, peaceful and enriched society.
