      Mrs. Berndt, 70, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 21, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of East Brunswick for 40 years. Mrs. Berndt was a teacher in the East Brunswick School District for 21 years, having taught at the Hammarskjöld, Churchill and Bowne-Munroe schools before retiring in 2001. More...
