      Margaret Anne Berndt
            Mrs. Berndt, 70, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 21, 2008, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Jersey City, she was a resident of East Brunswick for 40 years. Mrs. Berndt was a teacher in the East Brunswick School District for 21 years, having taught at the Hammarskjöld, Churchill and Bowne-Munroe schools before retiring in 2001.

            Mrs. Wranovics, 80, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Dec. 24, 2008, in JFK Hospital, Edison. Her husband, George Wranovics, died in 2000.

      Sidney Fisch
            Mr. Fisch, 82, of Monroe, died Dec. 28, 2008, in Meadow Lakes Care Center, Hightstown. His wife, Phyllis, died in 1997. Surviving are two children, Mark Fisch, and his wife, Holly, of Manalapan and Ellen Weinberg, and her husband, Martin, of Edison; a sister, Marilyn Bond, also of Edison; and four grandchildren.

            Mr. Mahoney, 81, of Spotswood, died Dec. 3, 2008, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Doris Sovick Mahoney; two sons, Richard Mahoney, and his wife, Ruth, of the Parlin section of Sayreville and Donald Mahoney, and his wife, Marianne, of Bethel, Conn.; a sister, Gloria Andreski; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

            Mrs. Schulmeister, 93, of the Cheesequake section of Old Bridge, formerly of East Brunswick, died Dec. 14, 2008, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was a production worker with DuPont, Parlin section of Sayreville. Her husband, Britton L. Schulmeister, died in 1991. Surviving are three children, Mary Elizabeth Schulmeister and Britton L. Schulmeister Jr.

      George V. Cox Jr.
            Mr. Cox, 77, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 22, 2008, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South Amboy, he had resided in Highland Park before moving to East Brunswick 53 years ago. He served with the East Brunswick Police Department for many years before retiring with the rank of lieutenant in 1986.

            Mr. Paccione, 49, of Brick, died Dec. 25, 2008, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Old Bridge for most of his life, moving to Brick 19 years ago. Mr. Paccione was employed as a meat cutter for Foodtown in Lakewood for many years. He was predeceased by his mother, Theodora (Palestis) Paccione in 1997. Surviving are his father, Anthony R.

            Mrs. Votta, 81, of Monroe, died Dec. 8, 2008, in Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Prior to her retirement in 1994, she was employed as a secretary with the South River Board of Education, where she worked for 27 years. Her husband, Louis Votta Sr., died in 1984. Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Parsons, and her husband, Kenneth, of Monroe.

She was an executive secretary at Rheem Manufacturing Co., Linden, for over 30 years before retiring 20 years ago. Mrs. Wallace was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth, and a son, Phillip.

            Mrs. Lonne, 88, formerly of Metuchen, Milltown and North Brunswick, died Dec. 27, 2008, in Parker Memorial Home, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Sears, New Brunswick; Royal Worcester Spode, East Brunswick; and the Milltown Pharmacy. Her husband, Roy Christian Lonne, died in 1972.
