Monroe girls lacrosse is now accepting registrations for the spring season beginning March 1. This is for girls in grades two through eight.

Registration fee through Feb. 2 is $100 and after Feb. 2 is $110. Information on the Monroe Girls Lacrosse Program and lacrosse in general is available at monroegirlslacrosse.com. Registration forms are also available on the site and at the Monroe Recreation Center.

The Immaculate Conception Youth Organization (ICYO) of Spotswood is hosting a boys and girls Valentine's Day Basketball Tournament starting Feb. 15 and ending on Feb. 28. The event will be held in the school gymnasium located at 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood.

The tournament divisions include third and fourth grade, fifth and sixth grade, and seventh and eighth grade. Entry fee includes each participant receiving a T-shirt and trophies will be awarded to the first-, second- and thirdplace winners, and MVPs in each division.
