The Level 4 Team at Monmouth Gymnastics Academy, coached by Maggie Haney, finished their season by winning first place at the New Jersey State Championships on Sunday, Jan. 10. Laurie Hernandez broke four N.J. state records in the 8-year-olds division, finishing first place on vault, beam, floor, and all-around (38.725). Lauren Kodros won first place on bars in the 8-year-olds division. Jaclyn Green also won first place on floor in the 7-year-olds division. The girls also won first place at the Rutgers Classic, Christmas City Classic, and All Star Classic meets this season. The team finished the season undefeated. Congratulations to the Level 4 Monmouth Gymnastics girls.
