New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) will hold its annual Procurement Event & Expo from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27, Edison. The theme, "Developing Business Through Contacts and Contracts: Many Voices — One Vision: Prosperity," reflects the goal of the event: to help women and minority business owners grow their businesses with corporate and government contracts.

The Business Expo is expected to have more than 60 tables, and five workshops

will be offered on certification, working the procurement process to get business, building the proper alliances, and e-Commerce solutions for growth. The event will be kicked off by a panel of women business owners who had an idea and made it into a successful business.
