      Albert Joseph Pileggi
            Mr. Pileggi, 89, of Bedford, Va., formerly of Spotswood, died Jan. 25, 2009, in Bedford Memorial Hospital. His wife, Betty, died in 1992. Surviving are three children, Elizabeth Herring, and her husband, John, of Bedford, Anthony Pileggi, and his wife, Suzanne, of Spotswood and Albert Pileggi Jr. of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

      Gary S. Toth
            Mr. Toth, 61, of South River, died Feb. 4, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was a forklift operator with Alco, South Brunswick, where he worked for 15 years. Before that, he was employed at Bristol-Myers Squibb, North Brunswick. His father, Stephen Toth, died in 1963.

      Joan M. Kosa Dziepak
            Mrs. Dziepak, 72, of South River, died Feb. 5, 2009, in Pine Brook Care Center, Englishtown. Prior to her retirement in 2007, she was employed as a sales clerk at Fashion Bug, East Brunswick, where she worked for 25 years.

            Mr. Hafter, 66, of Monroe, died Feb. 10, 2009, at home. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Greenspan Hafter; a daughter, Laura Davidowitz, and her husband, Michael, of East Windsor; a son, Michael Hafter, and his fiancé, Jennifer Silverman; a sister, Arden Leder, and her husband, Steven, of Deer Park, N.Y.; and four nieces and nephews.

      George Taylor Cowherd Jr.
            Mr. Cowherd, 81, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 7, 2009, in Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Gloria; a son, Thomas Randall Cowherd; two daughters, Margaret Meade Cowherd and Carolyn Phillips, and her husband, Anthony; and two grandchildren. A service was held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, East Brunswick.

            Mrs. Lamon, 85, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 3, 2009, at home. Her husband, Joseph Lamon, died in 1987. Surviving are a son, Stephen Lamon of Weehawken; two daughters, Maureen O'Donnell of London and Jo- Ann Reccoppa, and her husband, Michael, of Old Bridge; two sisters, Nancy Pyne of Weehawken and Carmen DiRenzo of East Brunswick; two grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
