Cash for Gold to aid community theater

The Main Street Theatre Company, Sayreville, will hold a Cash-for-Gold fundraiser 2- 5 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Mickey Sedlak Recreation Center, Dolan Street, Sayreville. Proceeds will be used to improve the theater's facilities and to reach out to a broader audience.

Guests are encouraged to bring their broken gold jewelry and other gold items. Jewelry professionals will be on hand to assess the value of the items and pay cash on the spot. Several vendors, including Premier Design Jewelry, PartyLite, Tupperware, Avon, Pampered Chef and more, also will be on site.
