Marjorie M. Roberts Compton

Mrs. Compton, 87, of North Brunswick, died Feb. 10, 2009, at Saint Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was head cook at the New Brunswick Board of Education for 30 years, retiring in 1994. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond G. Compton, in 2007; a grandson, Ryan Varga; two brothers, David and William Roberts; and two sisters, Edith Roberts Dunham and Josephine DeLuca. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Robin G. and John Varga of New Brunswick, and Lois Ann Davino of Monroe Township; a brother and sister-in-law, Ernest H. and Joan Roberts of Middlebush; and seven grandchildren. Burial was at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
