New Wal-Mart will create more problems

This letter is regarding the new Wal-Mart store that is proposed for Old Bridge.

We have enough stores — we do not need another Wal-Mart. There is a Wal-Mart just 10 minutes from where the new one would be built.

We have enough traffic in this town — we do not need more.

A new Wal-Mart will just create more problems. It will probably take away business from the stores that are near it and may cause them to go out of business.

Wal-Mart is a wealthy company and can do whatever it wants to do. The store will create noise and traffic problems. Maybe it will create jobs, but for how long? Until the store is open for a few months and all the employees who were just hired will be laid off?

I really hope Old Bridge will reconsider this proposal. We have enough stores. We do not need any more.
