Stepping down, but grateful for privilege to have served
As you know, I have decided not to seek another term on the Spotswood Board of Education. I have decided that nine years is enough, and it's time for new thoughts and fresh ideas to move this wonderful school district to the next level.
I would like to thank each of you for allowing me to be part of your life, as partner, teammate, teacher, student, mentor and friend — it has been a privilege and an experience I will never forget.
My time here with you, and the others with whom I have so proudly served, has been an opportunity that few can surpass. It has fulfilled me, educated me and given me the opportunity help children. What more could I ask for?
Each of you, in a very special way, has taught me more than you will ever know, and I know I am a better person today thanks to the time we have spent together. You all are an extension of my family, and I sincerely hope that I have treated you as such.
Although we will not see each other as much, I am certain that our paths will cross again.
Until that time, I wish all of you the absolute best that life has to offer.
