      Tickets on sale for Daisy Breakfast
            The 26th annual Ralph Lamo Memorial Daisy Breakfast will be held 8 a.m.-1 p.m. April 5 at the East Brunswick Hilton, Route 18, East Brunswick. Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit individuals with special needs who participate in the Daisy Recreation Program, sponsored by the East Brunswick Division of Recreation and Community Services and The Daisy Association.

      Signups under way for Milltown rec trips
            The Milltown Department of Recreation will sponsor a variety of upcoming trips open to residents and nonresidents. Seats are still available for the April 19 Brooklyn Pizza Tour. The bus will depart at 10 a.m. from Milltown Borough Hall. Cost is $65 per person.

            Immaculate Conception School will host BeCentsAble workshops at 7 p.m. April 3 and 10 a.m. April 4 in the cafeteria at the school, 23 Manalapan Road, Spotswood. Participants, who will learn how to cut their grocery, household and personal-care items budget, will receive a ticket for a door prize to win a $50 ShopRite gift certificate.

            PSEG GreenFest 2009, A New Jersey Celebration, will be held 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 3-5 at the Garden State Exhibit Center, 50 Atrium Drive, Somerset.       Youngsters invited to S.R. Spring Egg Hunt
            The South River Parks and Recreation Commission will hold its annual Spring Egg Hunt beginning at 10 a.m. April 4 in Varga Park, William Street. Rain date is April 11. Participants in the egg hunt will be divided into the following categories: toddlers (adults allowed); preschool-kindergarten; grades 1 and 2; and grades 3-5.

            The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, 71 Hamilton St., New Brunswick, will offer several upcoming events. Every Wednesday during the spring semester, the Zimmerli will extend its regular hours to 9 p.m. to offer a variety of special, informal programs including live music, poetry and other literary readings, gallery talks, dance and other artistic performances.
