Candidates offer thanks for support

We would like to thank the residents of South River for allowing us the opportunity to represent them on the Board of Education.

We spent several weeks walking door-to-door within our borough. This allowed people to get to know who we are and ask questions of us. We now understand what our community concerns and needs are, and we look forward to working with the other board members to improve our school district. We believe that we can provide our children with a quality education while keeping taxes down by continuing to generate additional funding through corporate sponsorships, grants and shared services.

We would also like to thank our families and friends for their endless support. Many went above and beyond for us.

We would also like to thank Karl Haider and Andreas Miller. Both have given many years of dedicated service to our school system, and their contributions through the years have been greatly appreciated.

We also congratulate Peggy Marino and look forward to working with her for the next three years.
