      Lottie R. Karney Barkalow
            Mrs. Barkalow, 84, of South River, died April 29, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary with the South River Board of Education, where she worked for more than 30 years. Her husband, Joel Barkalow, died in 1998.

            Mr. Mairs, 44, of North Brunswick, died May 3, 2009, at Briarwood Care & Rehabilitation Center, South Amboy. He had resided in Milltown before relocating to North Brunswick 12 years ago. Mr. Mairs was an office manager at All State Insurance in Piscataway. He was predeceased by his father, Theron Mairs.

            Mr. LaPadula, 32, of Monmouth County, died April 28, 2009, at home. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft section of Middletown, and attended Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. He was predeceased by his father, Dr. Charles A. LaPadula.

      Sylvia A. Braff Teitelbaum
            Mrs. Teitelbaum, 90, of East Brunswick, died April 28, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Simon Teitelbaum, died in 1983, and a grandson, Steven Teitelbaum, died in 2001. Surviving are a son, Ken Teitelbaum, and his wife, Maddy, of Lexington, Mass.

      Ethel Reich Rosengarten
            Mrs. Rosengarten, 95, of Highland Park, died April 20, 2009, in Regency Heritage, Somerset section of Franklin. Her husband, Ulrich, died in 1974. Surviving are two daughters, Marion Kornfield, and her husband, David, of Highland Park and Sylvia Tucker, and her husband, Bruce, of East Brunswick; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a nephew.

            Mr. Longo, 67, of East Brunswick, died April 2, 2009, at home. Surviving are his wife, Jeannette Girkesh Longo; three sons, James V. Longo II (Jeannette Regan) of Mays Landing, David S. Longo (Debbie Arkey) of the Parlin section of Sayreville and Robert J. Longo (Jackie Tuerk) of Franklin Park; and two grandchildren.

            Mrs. Voron, 87, of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of South River, died April 29, 2009, in Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring. She was predeceased by her first husband, Victor Lebedkin; her second husband, Simon A. Voron; and a granddaughter, Alexandra Jenkins. Surviving are two daughters, Eleanor Lebedkin of Johnstown, Pa.

            Mrs. Pancza, 83, of South River, died April 29, 2009, in Regency Heritage, Somerset section of Franklin. Surviving are her husband, Emery Pancza; a son, Wayne Pancza, and his wife, Robin Vogel, of Melrose Park, Pa.; and a grandson, Jed Martin Pancza. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Brunswick.

            Mrs. Kriss, 47, of North Brunswick, died April 26, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She resided in Sayreville, and Hudson, Fla., prior to relocating to North Brunswick, one year ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Matthew Kriss, in 2007.

            Mr. Wiecek, 69, of Sayreville, died May 3, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in South River, he was a lifelong resident of Sayreville. Mr. Wiecek was vice president of purchasing at Henderson Corp., Raritan, retiring in 2003. He was a past member of the Sayreville Planning Board. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marguerite A.
