      Genevieve "Jennie" Malinowski Kaczmarek
            Ms. Kaczmarek, 92, of Sayreville, died May 13, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress at Brodsky and Sons, South River, where she worked for more than 40 years. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Stelmaszek. Surviving are two sisters, Violet Lasko of Sayreville and Florence Skye, and her husband, Frank of Bonaire, Ga.

            Mrs. Host, 85, of New Brunswick, died May 4, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her husband, Raymond Host, died in 2002.             Mr. Dikowski, 83, of Old Bridge, died May 17, 2009, in Cranbury Care Center, Monroe. He served as a Republican committeeman for Ward 13 in Old Bridge during the 1970s. His wife, Ann, died in 1992, and a son-in-law, Jack Pastuszak, died in 1995. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Pastuszak and Nancy Lerman, and her husband, Scott.

            Mr. Thackara, 52, of Spotswood, formerly of East Brunswick and Old Bridge, died May 11, 2009, at home. He was the director of maintenance for 25 years at Summerhill Nursing Home, Old Bridge. His father, William, died in 2006. Surviving are his wife, Cindi Becker Thackara; a son, Jason, and a daughter, Lindsay; his mother, Lorraine Zwoyer Thackara of Venice, Fla.

            Mrs. DeWald, 96, of Long Branch, died May 15, 2009, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Henry DeWald; a son, John DeWald of Saugerties, N.Y.; a daughter, Anita Marie Menno of East Brunswick; and two grandchildren. Interment was at Beth El Cemetery, Oakhurst section of Ocean Township.
