POW-MIA panel sets June 7 Poker Run

Spotswood Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4589 POW-MIA (Prisoner of War- Missing in Action) Awareness Group will hold its annual Poker Run motorbike event June 7 beginning at the post home, 33 Daniel Road. Interested individuals may sign up 9-11 a.m. Destination will be the Hightstown Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Dutch Neck Road.

The end-site celebration will feature homemade food, spirits, bike games, a bike contest, a tattoo contest and more. A trophy will be awarded to the group with the most participants.

Proceeds will go to send packages to U.S. troops overseas and to provide supplies to wounded veterans at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Md. Donation is $20 per person. The public is welcome.
