Joseph F. Siatkowski Mr. Siatkowski, 101, of South River, died June 4, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Poland, he had lived in South River since 1950. Prior to his retirement 35 years ago, he was employed as a chemical operator for Oakite Corp, Metuchen. During World War II, he served in the Polish, French and British armies. Surviving are his daughter, Valerie Siat-Slaughter, and her husband, Rickie, from Texas; a grandson, Nickie Kowalew; a stepdaughter, Linda Brayczewsky, East Brunswick; a niece, Urszula Wrotynski, and her husband, Bogdan, with whom he lived. A Mass was held at Saint Mary of Ostrabrama Roman Catholic Church, South River, followed by burial at Our Lady of Czestochwa Cemetery, Doyleston, Pa. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. |
