      Stahl is wrong on DARE, police in schools
            As a graduate of East Brunswick public schools, I was very concerned to read that Mayor David Stahl plans on eliminating the DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program in our school system ("East Brunswick Redeploying Cops to Regular Police Work," Sentinel, June 25).

      Suggestions for improving tax-amnesty effort
            As the tally for New Jersey's tax-amnesty program hits $700 million, politicians are quick to "gift" it back to the public. Yet, I wonder if they have asked why the amnesty program was so successful. Is it possible that New Jersey has not properly invested in its enforcement against delinquent taxpayers?
