Evan Pron, who recently completed fifth grade at Monroe's Woodland School, was selected to the 2008- 09 Pop Warner All-American Scholar 5th Grade First Team. First Teams consist of the top 35 student-athletes nationwide for their grade. To be eligible for this selection, students must have a 96 percent GPA. Honor awards and community service are also factored into the national rankings. With over 400,000 Pop Warner participants, the First Team represents the top 1 percent. Evan received his award at a recent banquet held at the Coronado Springs Resort in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Fla.
