The East Brunswick Force Soccer boys U15 team tryouts will be held July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Heavenly Farms turf fields on Dunhams Corner Road. The Force has retained Division 1 Rider University Assistant Coach Julian Richens as its trainer and coach. The program for U15 will include: (late) fall training and tournaments, winter futsal training and futsal league play, spring training, league games and tournaments. The seventh annual Monroe Hoops Golf Outing to benefit the Ryan Walp-D.J. Blish- Joe Kunigonis Scholarship Fund will be held July 27 at Concordia Golf Course in Monroe. The cost of the event is $135 per person. Registration is at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Monroe High School graduates who were part of the travel program and gave back to the program and the basketball community. The Raritan Valley Soccer Officials Association is seeking candidates who are interested in officiating high school soccer in Middlesex, Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren counties. The RVSOA is a member of the New Jersey Soccer Officials Association, which is the leading organization for high school officiating in the state. Sky Blue FC Soccer has designated July 19 as a special Faith Day, featuring a game against the Chicago Red Stars, a free concert by the New Jersey rock band Justpassingthru, and guest speakers. The festivities will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Yurcak Field, Rutgers University, Piscataway.

Tickets are just $14 each, a savings of $5 per person. The first 50 ticket buyers will receive Justpassingthru's CD titled "Call Me Red." Tickets can be purchased at http://justpassingthru. net/skyblue/.

In addition to the game and free concert, Rob Cruver, pastor of Zarephath Christian Church, and Joe Cole, associate pastor of First Presbyterian of Red Bank, will also share brief messages.

East Brunswick/Spotswood Golden Bear Chargers are looking for head coaches in their Jr. Pee Wee and Mitey Mite Cheer Levels. Assistant coaches in all levels are needed for all levels to provide discipline and guidance. Previous cheer experience is not required. Sideline cheers are supplied and teams' routines are provided for competition. Practice is August 1 through October. Teams that progress through competitions could vie for a spot to go to Walt Disney World in Florida.
