            Mrs. Devich, 90, of Highland Park, died July 26, 2009, in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 29 at Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N. Main St., at Riva Avenue, Milltown.             Mrs. De Jesus, 98, of South River, died Aug. 13, 2009, at Madison Center, Old Bridge. Born in Portugal, she had resided in South River for many years. Mrs. De Jesus was predeceased by her husband, Jose Maria Mirassol.

            Ms. Helmer, of Monroe, formerly of Metuchen, died Aug. 1, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a manager with New Jersey Bell, New Brunswick. A Mass was offered at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Brunswick Memorial Home, East Brunswick.

            Mr. Lund, 68, of East Brunswick, died Aug. 14, 2009, in St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson. His wife, Gladys, died in 2004.

            Mr. Bustos, 68, of East Brunswick, died Aug. 12, 2009, at JFK Haven Hospice, Edison. He was a civil engineer for the NJ Turnpike Authority in East Brunswick for 28 years before his retirement. Mr. Bustos was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

            Mr. Benney, 42, of South River, died Aug. 5, 2009, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Benney and Mary Walsh Benney. Surviving are his wife, Roseann Benney, and a daughter, Shannon Benney, both of South River; and a sister, Karen McKinney of Ohio. A Mass was offered at Corpus Christi Church, South River.

            Miss Rule, 90, of Milltown, died Aug. 12, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She had worked for the city of New Brunswick in the tax collector department for 53 years, retiring as a supervisor. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Rule; a sister and brother-in-law Elizabeth and J. Edward Kreiger; and a brother-in-law Stephen Szabo.

            Mrs. Diem, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, died July 29, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1975, she was employed for many years at Tobin's Pharmacy, New Brunswick. Her husband, Rolland Diem, died in February. She also was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Haramy and Barbra Brennan, and a brother, John Vulkan.
