Mrs. Diem, of Spotswood, formerly of South River, died July 29, 2009, at home. Prior to her retirement in 1975, she was employed for many years at Tobin's Pharmacy, New Brunswick. Her husband, Rolland Diem, died in February. She also was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Haramy and Barbra Brennan, and a brother, John Vulkan. Surviving are a sister, Lynn Zdan of Sayreville; and two nephews, Richard and Ken Zdan. A service was held at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Interment was in Washington Monumental Cemetery, South River. Arrangements were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home.
