Urges passage of health care reform
Ihave watched with disgust as nearly all media outlets have concentrated on the disruptions of town halls, to the exclusion of well-run meetings and other news events of interest. Health care reform is needed and as the political will is here, it should be done now.
Most people realize things need to be improved, and we need Congress to act on our behalf. The elections of 2008 are history. Act according to the will of the majority. I urge all New Jersey congress members, senators and anyone with influence to help pass some sort of health care reform this fall.
It should include a public option, and give incentive for doctors to improve quality — not volume of service.
Do the right thing.
