Sayreville opens '09 with Brick Memorial rematch
Bombers face difficult battles early in campaign

      Despite losing most of its lineup to graduation, the Sayreville War Memorial High School football team will put a sizable team on the field when it opens the campaign on Friday at Brick Memorial High School. The Bombers went 9-3 a year ago and reached the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 4 final, where they lost to Brick Memorial, 24-0.

      Devin Kusmider just made his dreams come true. The 9-year-old dirt bike racer from East Brunswick qualified for the largest amateur motocross race in the world, the 28th annual Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Tennessee.
