      Diocese to begin senior Bible study
            The Diocese of Metuchen Office of Family Life will sponsor an eight-week Bible-study program for seniors (above age 55) beginning Sept. 23 at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway.       County sets influenza, pneumonia clinics
            The Middlesex County Public Health and Education Committee recently scheduled the county's 2009-10 Seasonal Influenza and Pneumococcal Immunization Clinics. The vaccination clinics continue through Oct. 23. Clinics are open to county residents ages 18 and above. Charge is $10 per vaccination. The fee is accepted in cash only.

            Keep Middlesex Moving Inc., New Brunswick, will celebrate Car Free Week by encouraging commuters to reduce auto use by going "car free" or "car lite" for one day during the week of Sept. 21. World Car Free Day is Sept. 22. Suggested modes of transportation are public transportation such as a train, bus or light rail; riding a bike or walking; or carpooling or vanpooling.
