      TNR can work if residents are patient
            Let me set the record straight regarding TNR (trapneuter release) in South River. There have been various letters to the editor regarding TNR in South River in the newspapers recently. I had the TNR ordinance passed in my town 2 1/2 years ago.

      Vote yes on referendum; bring Memorial School back to E.B.
            On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the residents of East Brunswick will have the opportunity to pass a bond referendum to build a new Memorial School to replace the elementary school severely damaged by fire in the summer of 2008. Since the fire, the students and staff of Memorial School have been temporarily relocated to Corpus Christi School in South River.

      Savings from trash pickup change not worth it
            Iam sorry to see that Mayor David Stahl has passed this ridiculous one-day-a-week garbage pickup after all. I would like to see the newspaper print the exact savings that each homeowner in East Brunswick will save per week as a result of this. I came up with 50 cents savings per week per homeowner.
