Vincent Caruso

Mr. Caruso, 85, of Toms River, died Sept. 11, 2009, at Concord Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Lakewood. He was a U.S. Army of World War II. Mr. Caruso was a bricklayer for over 30 years. He was predeceased by two brothers, Carmen and Louis Caruso, and two sisters, Antoinette Farella and Mary Zangara. He is survived by his wife, Rose Farella Caruso; two sons and daughters in-law, Thomas and Liz, and Ron and Irene, of North Brunswick; two daughters and a sonin law, Vincetta and Philip Gatti of Toms River, and Lori Caruso of New Egypt; two brothers, William Caruso of New Brunswick and Robert Caruso of North Brunswick; a sister, Connie Zangara of Milltown; and eight grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church, New Brunswick, followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. The Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick, was in charge of arrangements.
