Sept. 24

• Proceeds Night, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes (OLOL) School, Milltown, 5-9 p.m., at TGI Friday's, Route 1 south, North Brunswick. Restaurant will donate 20 percent of each school supporter's check (eat-in or takeout) to the school. Diners must present event flier for donation to count. • Tricky Tray, sponsored by the Monroe Wolverines Football and Cheerleading Organization, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 8 p.m., at the Monroe Township Community Center, Monmouth Road. More than 400 prizes including "a special day," 50/50, lottery trees, money trees, gift cards, Santa's Workshop of Toys valued at more than $650. • Weekend Warrior Camp for a Cause, to benefit the South River Food Bank, sponsored by Total Core Fitness Boot Camp, 8:30-9:30 a.m., at 190 William St., South River. • Friends and Neighbors in Action

(FNA) 5K Race and Fun Walk, organized by FNA and sponsored by the North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME), registration at 9 a.m., in Thompson Park, Monroe. Proceeds go to the Daniel Patrick Ryan Foundation, the Embrace Kids Foundation and FNA's Family Assistance Program, all to aid children and families dealing with childhood cancers. Items sought for U.S. troops overseas include food; snacks; drinks; blankets; travel mugs; toiletries, bug spray; eye drops; vitamins; entertainment and sports items; batteries; disposable cameras; cards and letters; firstaid supplies; hand sanitizer; linens; flashlights; T-shirts; small alarm clocks; socks; prepaid phone cards; acetaminophen, aspirin.
