The East Brunswick Area Youth Wrestling Club is accepting walk-in registration for the upcoming winter season 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 13 in the cafeteria at Churchill Junior High School, 18 Norton Road, East Brunswick. The program is open to youth in grades kindergarten through eighth grade of all abilities and offers levels from practice-only squads to teams that compete against other local recreation wrestling programs and in team tournaments. Victor Kamara, a graduate of Old Bridge High School, has been signed to play for the Belgian professional soccer club, Royal Racing FC of Montegnee.

The team plays in the third division of the Belgian soccer league. Kamara recently arrived in Belgium to attend the team's training camp and was quickly selected to play for the first team of the club.

Located in Liege, Belgium, Royal Racing Football Club of Montegnee is one of the oldest soccer clubs in Belgium and averages 15,000 spectators in attendance at their home games. The Belgian soccer league is considered a feeder league to a number of the larger leagues in Europe.

Kamara previously played at both New York Red Bulls Academy and PDA.

The Raritan Bay Cougars Pop Warner were hosted by the Fords Bearcats in the fifth week of play.

At the Pee Wee level, the Cougars lost 25- 12, with touchdowns by Justin Sudol and Joseph Guigno.

The Jr. Midgets defeated the Millstone Eagles 47-21.

During the sixth week of play, the Cougars hosted the Franklin Warriors, to a 6-6 tie at the Midget level.

The Raritan Bay Cougars' Pop Warner beat the South Brunswick Vikings 34-6 during the third week of play, improving to 3-0

During week four the Cougars hosted Trenton Tornados. At the Jr. PeeWee level, the Cougars lost 28-12, with touchdowns by Jacob Kodros and Micah Trawick.

At the PeeWee level the Cougars lost 18-7. Justin Sudol scored the only touchdown, with an extra point run by Daniel Hemhauser.

The Jr. Midgets played Carteret at Fords and defeated the Sportsmen, 30-6.

Raritan Bay Cougars were hosted by Fords Bearcats for week five action. At the PeeWee level the Cougars were defeated, 25-12.

At the Jr. Midget Level the Cougars played Millstone and defeated the Eagles 47-21.

The Riptide, and Old Bridge U9 girls soccer travel team, posted two wins in its first tournament of the year in Bridgewater and posted a 5-2 victory in the first game of the season in the Monmouth-Ocean Association. The squad is led by head coach Brian Morrissey and assistant coaches Alex Somohano, Tom Adams and Phil Froom. The Riptide roster consists of: Nichole Adams, Mackenzie Cangro, Alexandra Delahunt, Caitlin Froom, Cidney Lee-Sam, Ashleigh Morrissey, Samantha Pacheco, Lauren Shafer, Lindsay Shafer, Danielle Somohano, Gia Martini, Aly Vinci, Samantha Decker and Sarah Amador.
