Youngsters ages 3-18 are invited to check out an item from the Spotswood Public Library, 548 Main St., and relate why they are thankful for their library.

Each individual who submits one "thankful feather" for the library's "thankful turkey" will receive an Applebee's gift card good for one kid's sundae.

The event is open to Spotswood Library cardholders and Helmetta schoolchildren with a Spotswood Library card. One gift card per child will be awarded. Offer is good through Nov. 30.
